Review of Civic Duty (2006) by Stephanie U — 20 Jan 2008
Never let your father choose a movie for you is all I can say. This movie has a lot of weird things going for it. The plot is very jumpy, character development is too in depth and unrealistic, though could be argued that the development is too life-like, when discussing Terry Allen's story, the main character in this movie. Sure, it does touches some social commentary that is present in society, but overall the movie goes a bit too far to describe them.
Also, throughout the movie, I couldn't tell who played antagonist and protagonist roles. It was far too jumpy for me.
