Review of City Slickers (1991) by Tim C — 20 May 2010

Bill Crystal is hilarious. 'Hellooo', his comedy is so sarcastic that it's laugh out loud funny. The story line had a great message which I'm sure many people his age needed to boost their self esteem about their age.

The twist I really enjoyed was the calf named Norman. Bill was so attached to that animal having delivered it, that he was willing to sacrifice himself to help save the calf. I think that speaks tons about him finding a purpose in his life considering he would have never attempted that before his adventure.

Eastwood is also a bad ass as usual and this is probably my favorite portrayal of him. This is a nice 'pick me up' movie and will continue to watch it time and time again.
