Review of City Slickers (1991) by Patrik L — 17 Jan 2008
This film attempts to straddle a couple of genres; first of all it is a fish-out-of-water comedy, secondly it is a film about pulling together to overcome great obstacles. Unfortunately it is neither terribly funny nor very moving.
Keep an eye out for the little kid, he is played by a young Jake Gyllenhaal. Jon Stewart called this Jake's first gay cowboy movie.
