Review of City of the Living Dead (1980) by Jeremy N — 23 Feb 2008
While not as great as Zombi 2 or The Beyond, this is another awesome entry in Fulci's oeuvre. His directorial aesthetic is dead on in this one. I found the ending to be a bit of a letdown, but the evil priest, vomiting up guts, inexplicable inflatable dolls, etc.
all keep you glued to the screen.
