Pretty damn good movie. the whole "father" thing was a nice twist, and add some more emoitonal punch to the movie, but seemed somewhat contrived. other than that tho, fine film, although if it has to be compared to city of god, which it kinda does, considering the setting, rival gangs fighting each other and a couple dudes randomly getting caught up in it, i'd have to say city of god was better.
more intense, the characters were more in depth, and such. although apparently there's a show that led up to city of men, so maybe I ought to watch that for the character development.
