Review of City of Men (2007) by Aaron G — 03 Aug 2008
Missed this one in theatres during the seemingly one week it was there and so sorry I did. Considered a bit of a sequel to "City of God" due to its similar creators and subject matter, but it really isn't.
And while "City of God" is much more cinematically virtuostic, I would dare say "City of Men" has a more dramatic storyline. I enjoyed the hell out of it. One of the better films of the year so far.
