Review of City of Men (2007) by Miranda P — 26 Jan 2009
It's probably not fair to rate this film so soon after seeing the terrific 'City of God', but it can't help but draw comparisons. It can be summed up in one word: tepid. The intensity of emotion of 'City of God' is sorely lacking here, and it shows - in the storyline, direction, and performances.
Not a bad film, really, but a disappointment.
