An absolute masterpiece! If you love The Wire, then you have to see this. An amazing well written well shot movie about the drug trade in Rio, the part of the city you don't see in the commercials to go visit.
Great characters, great editing. Definitely worthy of all of the internet praise. If you are a movie fan, you need to see this film. Yes, it's Brazilian, and there are subtitles, but you forget this pretty quickly.
One of the greatest movies ever made. Highly recommended! Rating: A+.
