One of the best movies I've ever seen. Amazing story, perfect execution. The way they picked amateur or unknown actors (and some of them even lived in the Cidade de Deus and were familiar with the real story) and did something so utterly organic and realistic, without depending on sex/nudity/extreme violence/gore scenes was amazing and almost unheard of, especially nowadays.
Fantastic plot, cast, direction, photography, etc.
