While hard to watch at times, City Of God is a moving piece of cinema that is raw, disturbing and powerful. It is well shot and tells a compelling story about the life in the slums, while fleshing out its characters who are fueled by strong performances from the young actors.
If you can take in some violence, check out this movie ASAP.
