Outstanding film, this. I can definitely understand why it has been compared to ''Goodfellas.'' Apart from sharing storylines that dig deep into the criminal underworld, both boast of stellar technical craftsmanship; especially with the editing and, of course, the directing.
Like Scorsese's masterpiece, there is a rhythmic flow involved here...it starts at full throttle and never slows down. Great cinematography and use of music. And the performances? Simply amazing, especially when you take into account most of the cast were nonprofessional actors.
Pretty much perfect in every aspect.
