Review of City of God (2002) by Andrew V — 08 Nov 2014
Talk about a film that's depressing and sadistic, City of God is hands down officially on my list of favorite films. It's filmed around an atmosphere of violence, kids holding guns, doing drugs, and takes place in the dark awaited hell known as the slums.
It starts out when the narrator as a kid and goes all the way to his adult hood, if you're in the mood for a crime film, I'd recommend this film, but be warned its not for the faint hearted.
