Review of City of Ember (2008) by Marge F — 03 Oct 2009
Actually a lot better than I thought it would be. It seems to do the thing that most good sci-fi movies do: take you away from your state of mind and put your conscience in their hands. I enjoyed their system of government and the sense of adventure through it all.
It's definitely a great movie to show kids with lots of imagination. I imagine a decent sequel but with its disastrous sales, it's hard to tell.
