This was very entertaining in my book! Full of mystery and suspense! A nice children sci-fi movie with a great host of cast members. I haven't read the novel its based upon yet so not sure how much like the novel the movie is.
I felt a sense that some parts from the novel weren't added to the movie. Some things that happen in the movie left me pondering or wanting to see much more of. It still did a good job though in my opinion.
The setting, time, plot, characters, and style were all on point for me. Very nice adventure! Yes, mainly for a young audience but still caught my eye nonetheless. The genre that stood out the most is the mystery and suspense, very nice.
It also had a few thrills that did indeed had me on the edge of my seat, just wish it had a little more and the humor part was ok, I guess because it was humor for a younger audience. The science fictional side of the movie was good.
The city sooo very much fit the title! The ending is the only negative comment I have. Could have used some work unless that is how the novel ended as well, I don't know. Overall....Nice!
