Review of City of Ember (2008) by Sebastian O — 12 Jul 2009
A movie that is more for mid-older kids (not youngsters) as the plot is probably a little more intelligent than your run-of-the-mill adventure stories.
Well acted but a bit of a slow burner and yet the plot seems very relevant in the current climate. In cinematic terms this reminded me of The City Of Lost Children, and a little like The Village story-wise.
Not bad at all.
