Review of City of Angels (1998) by James H — 19 Mar 2010
I have to say I actually didn't find this film too horrific. It was pretty decent. I'm still not a huge fan of Nicolas Cage, but he did okay here.
My only issue is that, if you forget the fact he's supposedly an angel (something that Meg Ryan accepted all too easily), then Cage's character is just a mental patient. Think about that next time you here the line:
"Why won't you touch me?".
"Because I don't want to hurt you...".
Creepy no?
