Review of City Lights (2014) by Izzy G — 03 Mar 2009
10/10.
Chaplin's most beautiful and heartwarming film follows the themes of romance with his signature humour.
City Lights is the last masterpiece of the silent era. Touching and vibrant, it tells the story of love which truly is blind. Chaplin's exploits are back to delight again in one of his last silent outings.
City Lights is a a beautiful silent film both artistically and emotionally.
