Review of City Lights (1931) by Isaac S — 08 Jul 2008
Simple, beautiful, and enduring. Chaplin without a doubt made the right decision keeping this a silent film. hysterical antics, wonderful characters, and a charming, innocent love story. hours of dialogue could not express the kind of humour, romance, and emotion fit in to this delightfully mute hour and a half.
classic.
