Review of City Lights (1931) by Jordan T — 07 Sep 2008
Only Charlie Chaplin could pull off such an amazing performance. Although I can't say I was laughing out loud, there were a lot of very funny scenes. Clever humor all the way around, but let's not sell this short for having a wonderful romantic story.
Chaplin's movements and expressions sell the whole film, and showcase one of the most affectionate endings in cinema.
