Review of City Lights (1931) by Matheus C — 12 Oct 2011
To pick a favorite of Chaplin's is extremely difficult because so many of his films are masterpieces. But I can tell you without a shred of doubt that this is my favorite Chaplin film. It just exudes charm and the story itself is so sweeping, romantic, and beautiful that one just has to succumb to its gifts.
