Review of City Island (2009) by John R — 25 Feb 2014
City Island is an ingenious updating of the classic farce. I have no doubt that if French playwright Moliere had lived today he would have been proud to have scripted this delightfully outrageous romp featuring mistaken identities, mistaken motives, and sexual titilation.
I haven't laughed so loudly at a film since seeing I Love You Man. Truly, this is an example of the eternal nature of a classic genre.
