Review of City Hunter (1993) by John A — 04 Oct 2012
This Is A Live-Action Movie, Based On A Japanese Comic & Anime Of The Same Name. This Hilariously Slapstick Style Film, Follows Jackie Chan As The City Hunter, A Private Eye & A Bit Of A Ladies Man Who Has Been Hired By A News Tycoon To Find His Daughter.
He Tracks Her Down To A Cruise Ship, But While At Sea The Ship Is Hijacked By Australian Martial Artist Richard Norton. The Film Boasts Some Very Camp Humour & Pulls It Of Excellently. The Film Also Features A Skateboard Chase, 2 Brilliant Fight Sequences With British Kickboxer Gary Daniels, & A Well Choreographed Fight Sequence With Richard Nortan, Add In A Love Triangle, A Comedic Sequence With Bruce Lee's Game Of Death & A Comedic Tribute To Street Fighter 2 & You Have A Really Enoyable Film.
