Review of City Heat (1984) by Jordan R — 24 Feb 2009
Eastwood and Reynolds go back to 1933, blasting and punching just about everything in sight when they're not insulting each other. Plot's only boilerplate and not particularly engaging. You watch this one for the gags and to see Eastwood and Reynolds continually insult one another (and everyone else). Watch for their continual bickering, the diner brawl at the opening, the one-liners, the big gunfight at the auto garage, and their raid on the cathouse.
It's fun and not as bad as many say, but nothing too terribly special.
