When you think about it, the Oscar went to Laura Potrais only because Edward Snowden couldn't be there to accept it. The Academy Awards really blurred the line between the importance of a subject and the importance of good documentary filmmaking.
This film is merely 25% of unedited footage for the deeper documentary we were not given.
