Review of Citizen Ruth (1996) by Bob S — 09 Sep 2008
I admire this film more in principle than in execution. I'm not quite sure how it got made, but I'm glad it did. Does a great job of showing people more excited about their cause than about the people directly affected by it.
This film does have a perfect ending with the ultimate middle finger to both sides. A solid first film from Alexander Payne, who would go on to make some of my favorite comedies.
