Payne's debut film is quite the overlooked cupcake. An abrasive dark comedy that sheds light on the abortion issue, revealing the craziness of both sides. It carries my favorite Laura Dern performance as the vocal, stupid whore Ruth Stoops; even trumping her roles in Inland Empire and Wild at Heart.
