Review of Citizen Kane (1941) by Carla H — 01 Nov 2014
This is a splendid biographical film of Charlie Kane (whom I neither liked nor disliked yet admired for his character) told in a rather creative manner, in regard to both the script and the direction. Though at times the drama is wearying, it is certainly appropriate and not unrealistic.
All of this is why I usually prefer classic and art house films to modern and typically CGI-driven ones.
