4/4.
Absolutely stunning film about the life and death of powerful publishing newspaper tycoon Charles Foster Kane. Welles first film, which he also stared, co-wrote (with Herman J. Mankiewicz), and produced, would also be his best, top every other great movie...and change the way movies are made forever. Script Won Oscar, but Welles direction, performance, the cinematography (Gregg Toland), editing, and score, should have won.
