Review of Citizen Kane (1941) by Tatsuhito K — 07 Apr 2015
An absolutely absorbing epic tale of fame, wealth, and love. I admire its influence, but it's not really the kind of movie I want to watch over and over again. The cinematography and storytelling of the film are ingenious, but for some odd reason it feels incomplete.
Maybe I will find that out if I watch it multiple times. Citizen Kane totally earns its reputation as a landmark film. It is a poignant and compelling story.
