Review of Citizen Kane (1941) by Scott P — 12 Jun 2012
Still very relevant in today's society (70 years after its release), Orson Welles deserves all the fame he has gotten for writing, directing, and starring in this film about a billionaire newpaper and media tycoon's life.
Great storytelling, beautiful cinematography (especially the deep focuses and scenes in the snow), I am glad to have this film off my "list of shame" and will no doubt see it many times again in the future.
