Review of Citizen Kane (1941) by Abigail B — 22 Jun 2012

I saw this movie in a film class which has it's pros and cons. I was able take part in discussions about Citizen Kane and really try to unfold the mastery behind this revered film. On the other hand, there is something about being forced to watch a movie behind a cold desk in a classroom that makes me have a distaste for the film itself.

I believe my final consensus was that I appreciated this film and remember liking it to a certain degree, but for me it wasn't memorable over these years. I would like to watch it again and see if my opinions differ in a different setting.
