Review of Citizen Kane (1941) by Dan B — 07 Feb 2013

Accounted as the best movie ever made, I would beg to differ. It has it's high points but compared to The Godfather another movie considered as the best ever, Godfather wins in my book. The beginning of this was drawn out and very boring, putting quite a lot of people to sleep.

The felt once Kane started to go up in the world that's when the movie started to become entertaining. It some what kept my attention. It was a good story and so many ways they filmed the movie has been used in movies all the way up to today's movies.

The acting was pretty good and the guy that played Kane was the best. Going into this hearing people loved it so much I expected the best and didn't feel like it got close to that at all. The whole time they are trying to figure out what Rosebud meant as it was his last words before he died and once you find out.

..it doesn't even make sense and just isn't satisfying, wasn't what I expected and didn't seem to care when it was finally revealed. This was good but nothing close to the best movie ever made.
