Review of Citizen Kane (1941) by Jeremy T — 14 Apr 2013
It's impact on cinema is undeniable, and it manages to hold up extremely well today. The story has been done a million times, but never as great or thoughtfull as in Citizen Kane. It might seem rushed at times, but it's supposed to, as the story is told in a clever way.
And to top all that, Orson Welles gives a fantastic performance, who also brilliantly directed and wrote the film. This is one amazing film.
