Review of Citizen Kane (1941) by Kevin G — 19 Feb 2014
All of its accolades over the years are totally founded. In front of the camera, behind the camera, on the page and in post-production, there is no film as technically stupendous as Citizen Kane. Wells is incredible playing a man throughout his years, and his company all bring their "A" game.
The only thing that makes Casablanca a better movie remains its emotional impact, which Citizen Kane falls short of.
