Review of Citizen Kane (1941) by Aditya C — 03 Jun 2014
Orson Welle's "Citizen Kane" tells an intriguing story in an inventive way in which the puzzling life of Charles Kane is pieced together in flashbacks with the purpose that it may reveal the identity of the elusive "Rosebud" that haunted him till the end of his life.
Welle's himself has directed, produced, and starred in a film that is essentially a character study of a man who has all the fame and fortune in the world but lacks love and happiness. The film is meticulously created in all aspects: direction, music, acting, pace, etc.
It is an epic and timeless tragedy for the ages.
