Review of Citizen Kane (1941) by Ivan M — 03 May 2012
An innovative and masterful film from the legendary Orson Welles, his feature film debut has it all: spectacular photography which changed the way people looked at directing a film forever, a touching and tragic story about Charles Foster Kane, a wonderful character who's notorious wealth eventually takes everything from him, leaving only his moving last words: "Rosebud.
..", engaging and original writing and fantastic acting efforts from the hugely memorable cast. Welles promised to be one of the all time brilliant filmmakers with this picture, and this should be one of the favourites of anybody who is truly passionate about cinema.
