Review of Citizen Kane (1941) by Abby M — 06 Feb 2013

Citizen Kane lost me. Throughout the movie I found myself questioning the characters attitudes and actions, and not in a way that kept me interested. I found the movie long and bland. The use of deep focus was, in some places, innovative and interesting, but, overall, I feel that the technique wasn't very beneficial to the story or the art of the movie.

This is not a movie I plan to watch again, nor one I would recommend to friends.
