A story of a young boy who is sent away by his mom after she receives an unexpected inheritance/windfall. The boy is looked after though he fails at several colleges and he comes into his inheritance at age 25. He becomes a newspaper man and attempts to improve American society, has two failed marriages and is set up by his political foe when he runs for governor. A picturesque and interesting film. 10/10.
