Review of Citizen Kane (1941) by Caesar S — 06 Dec 2014
Citizen Kane is the somber, gripping tale of Charles Foster Kane, a fictitious newspaper tycoon. Much of the inspiration for Kane comes from William Randolph Hearst. The majority of Kane's story is told through flashbacks, as a reporter interviews Kane's friends and acquaintances, in an attempt to discover the meaning of Kane's mysterious last word,"Rosebud.".
Citizen Kane is an excellent film. Orson Wells, Joseph Cotton, and Everett Sloane lend their wonderful talents to, debatably, the best film ever made.
