Review of Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away (2012) by Dave L — 22 Apr 2013
Basically a 90 minute greatest hits package of Cirque's stage shows wrapped ostensibly in an "Alice in Wonderland" type (dialogue-free) story. It features some INCREDIBLE stunts and visuals, to be sure, but suffers from the lack of immediacy you get from seeing it live, and (as now a home video release) the spectacle of the events as a 3D big screen event.
It would work best as a background screen saver - no plot to follow or lines to hear-all (impressive) costume, makeup and acrobatic prowess.
