Review of Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant (2009) by Riikka P — 21 Jul 2012

I skipped most of the movie. I know, I should always give a movie a chance and that can only happen by watching it and one shouldn't judge by just a total of 25 minutes of random scenes. However, I have read the books and felt that this movie was too obvious and only occasionally was like the original books. Sometimes that kind of freelancing is a good thing, in this movie it was... not.

For a lazy summer afternoon I would, anyway, recommend the books. I really found them entertaining and much, much better than the movie.
