This story happens to take place in 1957, the year I was born, but in Ireland :)......I don't know if the year has anything to do with it, but I just fell in love with this movie! Minnie Driver is great and she makes a cute couple with Chris O'Donnell.
....then there's Colin Firth as a slimeball and Alan Cummings is a leche! But all in all.....it's a very sweet love story that teaches that you should be willing to wait for the one you love. I could watch this over and over! On "My Favorite Movies" & "My 5 Star Chick Flicks" lists.
