A classic Italian film from the 1988 that won Best Foreign Film at the Oscars.
The plot is about a boy who loves films and works in a theater call Cinema Paradiso. As he grows older he goes through a series of events including falling madly in love.
Its a story about love, friendship, and learning to let go. This film entertains you right from the start to the end. It does what a movie should do. It has real substance and endows a feeling of familiarity. You feel like its the first time watching a movie because its so classic, an excellent exemplar of excellence in film making. A masterwork in one word.
