Review of Cinema Paradiso (1988) by Caesar M — 09 Sep 2012
I find it difficult to find just any movies that truly captures your heart and resonates with you. Cinema Paradisco does capture does all of that with a very beautiful and touching story.
Cinema Paradiso is about a famous filmmaker who recalls his childhood, when he fell in love with the movies at his village's theater and formed a deep friendship with the theater's projectionist. Now the movie is quite well made, I was surprise how much I could relate some of my personal life experiences with this movie. The movie plot might be simple, but it's quite effective. It has lovable characters you'll enjoy, a romance story that both very realistic and one of the best on screen romances you'll ever see, and has sentimental value that no amount of writing could do it justice. The cast acting, the script, the score, ans so on are all flawless. Creating a very emotional and heartfelt experience that's unlike anything you never experience before. I absolutely love the dialogue in this, some of the best I've heard in a long time.
Cinema Paradiso is a rare movie that resonates with audiences on many different level and these kind of movies are hard to find. If you're looking for a emotional and heartfelt experience, Cinema Paradiso is the movie for you.
