Rating particularly applies to the cut version. Unfortunately, the extended version changes the tone of the movie in a somewhat distracting and negative way, although it definitely does add complexity to the story.
Nonetheless, it is a very well-made movie. Additionally, it contains one of my favorite movie soundtracks which was composed by Ennio Morricone.
