Review of Cinema Paradiso (1988) by Les E — 04 Oct 2010

One of the best movies ever. It is so beautiful, poignant and moving. The characters are all a joy and you are really taken along on their journey. The young boy adores his hero the projectionist and it is him that gives the advice to leave the village and never return.

There is nothing special about the way it was shot or lit or edited it's all about the story which is just about perfect with love, humour, passion and tragedy. It's not only a must se but a must see again and again.
