Review of Cinema Paradiso (1988) by Warren S — 28 Feb 2012

I remember when this first came out and I wanted to see it but I didn't get to until about 7/8 years ago. It's now become one of my favourites and definite favourite foreign language film. Incredible film-making and contains one of the best continuous shots put down on film (where the film is projected out of the house and onto the outer wall) - so good I had to rewind and watch again - probably the only film I've done that with.

An ideal date film too - sentimental and nostalgic as other reviewers have said. Five stars all round.
