I agree with the consensus of this movie. The only thing I don't like about it is the movie's title, this movie should've been called "Burgen Bulldog," in my opinion. I say this, because James J. Braddock is called the burgen bulldog several times in this movie, which tells me and everyone else that he is the burgen bulldog, this name sounds catchier in my opinion.
