Extremely good. Russell Crowe gives a great performance and this movie has a lot of heart. I love the way it was shot and feel Giamatti was outstanding. Ron Howard does a very good job in capturing the era and depicting the story of Braddock.
As far as boxing movies go my allegiance still lies with Raging Bull. This one is more of an uplifting underdog story like the Rocky movies. If you like that then this would be for you.
