Liked the narrative really much. Mr.Howard got me into the emotional development of the characters (mostly Braddock, Mae and Gould) and got me almost crying in the final scene; the fight for the title Heavywight Champion of The World.
Some photography was amazing, especially during the boxing scenes. It was the most unglamourized film about boxing I've ever seen! Perhaps the greatest achievement was script and actors (Paul Giamatti!!!) Overall, very well done when it comes the cinematic production.
No compromises, just a brutal knockout!
